Head Technician

Hometown: Phoenix, AZ

Pets: I share my home with two energetic Australian Shepherds named Autumn and Charlie. Charlie's a little too smart for his own good. We had a rough start with him getting into the refrigerator and out of the yard. It's all been worth it, though, as the 2 of them are so loving and able to bring a smile to my face.

I've been working in the veterinary field since 2002.  I was trained on the job and sat for the State and National exams to get my certification in 2010.  Being at KC Animal Hospital since 2011, I have loved meeting all the wonderful clients here as well as their pets.  I enjoy working with people to understand their individual needs as well as making each visit as pleasant as possible for them and their pet. My experience and skill make me an excellent technician.  I care for each pet with the same patience and love I give my own dogs.  If you ever have questions, don't hesitate to ask me.  I'll gladly explain tests and procedures or discuss what food your pet should be on. On top of my work here, I'm also a co-chair for the Veterinary Health Care Team of Arizona Technicians Community.  There we work on providing training and continuing education for veterinary staff across Arizona. Outside of work I sing at my church, work in my yard, hike, and study health and nutrition.
