We understand that when you are gone, your pet misses you! Animals are often creatures of habit, and choosing the right facility to board your pet is important! The trend is for boarding facilities let your pet run and play with other pets, and while this sounds desirable, we approach boarding with a more “medical” mindset. The care and well-being of your pet is of the utmost importance to us while they are in our custody. For this reason we do not have play-times with other animals, simply because we do not want to risk your pet being involved in a fight and getting injured.
Our boarding is different in that our dedicated kennel staff pays one-on-one attention to all the guests on top of ensuring they are in a clean environment daily. This includes daily walks with just a staff member and your pet, extra time spent with your animal, a treat given if you have provided any or if you allow us to provide afternoon peanut butter treats, daily weighing of your pet to monitor any weight loss/gain, inspection of their eating habits as well as any digestive issues and administering any medications your pet may currently be on.
Our approach in caring for your animals is a medical one centered on ensuring they are healthy, happy, and they return to you just as they were when they began our stay with us!
